‘The Magic Egg’ by Himani
One day I found a magic egg in a piece of blossom. It was light blue like the sky. It also had multi-coloured pearls on it. I knew it was magic because it kept changing its pattern. It cracked open. It had a message saying please go to the Easter bunny shop. It gave me some instructions. I walked down to Cecil Street. Then I turned left. There was a shop, I walked in. on the message it said this thing would have my name on it. I found it. It was a cute bunny. I took it to the pet shop. I bought lots of bunny biscuits, hay and a cage. I took them home and showed my mum and I played with it all day.
‘The Magic Egg’ by Mariam
One day I found a magic egg. The egg was in China. Inside it was a Chinese baby dragon. I knew it was magic because the shell was small and the dragon was quite big. Something happened and the Chinese dragon had wings but it didn’t spray out any fire. The dragon was very kind and it wasn’t really bad, just good. I went on a big adventure and it was called Legoland. I made a flower out of Lego and it was fun. The Chinese dragon took me to China and then back home.

‘The Tunnel’, by Jonathan
Last week it was Christmas and it was snowing. My brother and I were making a snowman. It was big and it had a carrot on it too. We found a tunnel and it was very dark. We heard a voice. It was a low voice. I went to see and saw a man. He looked like a magic man, so I asked his name.
“My name is Dived, and I am a magic man. I want to show you a magic trick.”
Then we went to a magic world. It had some flowers and lovely fishes. There was a big rocket. I went up in it. It said, “Five, four, three, two, one, blast off!”
It went to the moon where there were aliens. “What is your name?” said an alien.
“My name is Jonathan. I have to go back to Earth now. ‘Bye, ‘bye.” I went back in my rocket and went home. Then I went through the tunnel and went home.
‘The Tunnel’, by Himani
One day I went to a country called New Zealand. My mum dropped me at Tiwanato airport. When I was there I saw a colourful tunnel which had a name. Its name was Stripy. Stripy said, “Hello, what is your name?”
I said, “My name is Himani.”
Stripy said, “Would you like to go through me?”
“Yes please!” So I ran through as fast as I could. There was a land called Kittens and Puppies Land. The kittens were so cute, so were the puppies. I took the puppies out for walks and gave them dog chocolate which was called Illypi Fuzz. After a while, Stripy said, “You are allowed the puppy with the brown patch on his eye and you can have the white kitten.”
I went back through the tunnel with my puppy and kitten. I went to the airport. When I was back home I played with my pets all day.
My Colour Poem, by Himani
The yellow sun shines brightly
In the light blue sky.
Pink summer flowers burst open and bloom.
Shallow blue water flows across the stream
And splashes against the grey rocks.
White is the snow resting on the brown branches.
Silver is the trophies being carved.
My Colour Poem, by Jonathan
Light blue is the sky
And dark blue is the sea.
Grass green is my apple for break.
Orange is an exploding firework
In the dark blue sky.
Gold is the roof of the Taj Mahal.
Black is a cat all alone in a street,
White is a skeleton and a clean bit of paper.
My Colour Poem, by James
My colour poem is a juicy apple when it is ripe.
Dark blue is the sea
Splashing with massive waves.
Green is for the wavy grass I see
Before my mum cuts it.
White is the Taj Mahal,
Which shines like silver.
Yellow is the sun
Which makes the world go round.

I had to go to bed and in the morning the box came back and when I opened the box, the box ran away and ran out of the window and never came back.

Trip to Peter Pan, by James
Yesterday we went to the Nuffield Theatre to see Peter Pan. I liked when Captain Hook and Peter Pan fought a battle and it was funny when Captain Hook jumped into the crocodile’s mouth. And I liked the lost boys and I liked the pirates.
