The Fantastic Pencil, by James

Once upon a time there was a boy called Bumblebee and he went to a shop and it was very dusty. He saw a box that said the magic pencil and he bought the pencil and started to draw. Just then the pencil started to draw by itself. The picture came to life and then the pencil made the boy go to Spain and the boy wished he was in chocolate land and he was eating all the chocolate. Then he wished that he was back at home and he opened his eyes and he was back at home.


The Witch’s Cat, by Mariam

Once upon a time there was a witch who lost her cat somewhere. The witch needed her cat back. The witch heard her cat. ‘Meow!’ the cat went in the spooky house. The witch found her cat under the table.

The witch put her cat on her broomstick. The cat looked down. The broomstick went down in the forest. The witch saw a wolf. The witch magicked the wolf into a spider.

Then the witch took her cat back into the haunted house.

The Haunted Warehouse, by Jordan

Every night in an abandoned warehouse lived a wolf. He went howl and then…he ran out of the house. He jumped and said, Where are you little wizard? And the wolf found the wizard and then the wolf ate the wizard. And that is why you should never leave a wolf in an abandoned warehouse!


Describing a process, by James

My Clay Bear.

  1. We had to make a body out of clay and I had to roll it to an oval shape.
  2. Then I had to roll some clay into an egg shape for the head.
  3. Then I pinched the clay to make the ears and use the tools to make the eyes and the nose and mouth.
  4. then I had to roll some clay for the arms and the legs and for the legs I had to point them up to make the feet.

The Naughty Prince and Princess, by Jonathan

Once upon a time there was a naughty prince and a naughty princess and they were arguing who was better than each other. The King saw them arguing and he went down the stairs and told them to stop arguing and they weren’t to argue any more and they were friends all day and every night. The day after they were friends. But then the King and Queen were arguing and the King was bashing the window and the Queen was shoving the King into his bedroom and she locked him in. And he said ‘I am sorry’ and the Queen let him out.   


The Naughty Monkey, by Serena

A long time ago there was a Safari Park and there was a monkey cage. A monkey broke out and he let the penguins out. The penguins ran wild around the city and the monkey ran round dancing and the monkey went to the tigers and he let the tigers out. The police saw penguins and tigers and told the Safari Park man off. And the monkey laughed.


My Summer Holiday, by Jonathan

I went to Devon and I lived in a hotel and it was fun going to the beach and I went in the sea and I went to see Peter Pan and it was great. And I went to a summer fair and that was great. At the summer fair I got some toys for me and my brother to share.

I went to Lepe beach and fished for crabs but they were dead. I went to Paultons Park and went on the Jumping Jack, racing river ride and the nice relaxing train. I went to Legoland and I saw London made out of Lego and it was very very very crowded wherever I went. I went to Marwell Zoo and saw the beautiful snow leopards.

I went to Paultons Park. I went on the Cobra and my favourite was the Dinosaur World. My friend called James slept over and we played with our Transformers and we had great fun on my holiday and at Paultons Park.

I went on a holiday in Paultons Park. It was fun. In Paultons Park there were people having fun. I went to Manor Farm. My favourite was the horse. In school I can work.
