Girls’ hair longer than shoulder length should be tied back at all times. Hair ribbons should be of a navy blue colour. Slides or hair bands should be of a dark colour. Hair should be of its natural colour.

Makeup and nail varnish are not permitted.

No jewellery may be worn in school, except for one plain gold ear studs, in both ears. No sleepers or other earrings may be worn.

The school will not accept responsibility for the loss of, or damage to watches or ear studs.

The regulation items of school uniform is stocked at Stevensons; and most items of uniform can be obtained through them. Any items below which are marked with an asterisk (*) can be obtained from the school office. There is also a second-hand uniform shop at the school, which is open once a month during term time.

Your attention is drawn to the fact that rules regarding uniform are accepted when the admission form is signed. If, however, uniform is unavailable, then allowances will be made until the supply is delivered.

Please contact the school office if you are in any doubt about the requirements of uniform or regarding the purchase of anything that may be unacceptable.
