Mission Statement
LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
As a school that values highly a deep knowledge and understanding of our students, our vision is:
to enable students to maximise their potential in a caring, supportive environment. We will achieve this through maintaining professional values whilst striving for improvement through self-evaluating and dynamic processes. Our school motto "Vestigia Nulla Retrorsum" inspires us to move forward purposefully in our response to challenge.
Our aims and aspirations are:
Academic
- that every student fulfils his or her maximum potential, that teachers and students pursue excellence through knowledge and understanding, and that our students develop a thirst for knowledge and the skills to enable lifelong learning.
- to create a positive, disciplined and stimulating environment in which achievements are recognised and celebrated.
Pastoral
- that every student has a responsibility towards themselves and others to create a safe and caring environment.
- that all students receive the care and individual attention they require through appropriate guidance and support.
- that students develop a positive self-image, mutual respect and a sense of community in which they feel valued and that they acquire spiritual and moral values and a social awareness.
Extra-curricular
