Clubs

Clubs are run by staff in their own time, so prompt collection from these is appreciated.  If parents are delayed please could you phone and let the school know.

Pupils are asked to sign up for the clubs of their choice on the club notice board in the main hall.  Registers will then be drawn up. If your child will not be able to attend a club could you or the child please inform the teacher concerned.

The clubs for the academic year 2007 - 2008 are as follows:

MONDAY
Computer Club for Form 3 from 3.30pm to 4pm with Mrs Read.

Netball Club for Form 4, Form 5 and Form 6 from 3.30pm to 4.15pm with Mrs Drake.

TUESDAY

Subbuteo (autumn and spring terms) for Form 3 and Form 4 from 3.30pm to 4pm with Miss Green

Cycling Proficiency (summer term) for Form 5 and Form 6 from 3.30pm to 5pm with Mrs Drake and Miss French.

WEDNESDAY
Football Club (autumn and spring terms) for Form 4, Form 5 and Form 6 from 3.30pm – 4.15pm with Mr O'Flaherty

Cricket Club (summer term) for Form 4, Form 5 & Form 6 from 3.30pm to 4.15pm with Mr O'Flaherty

Papier-mache club for Forms 2 and 3 from 3.30pm to 4.15pm with Mrs Odgers.

Ballet & Jazz (details from the School office).

THURSDAY

Cross-stitch for Form 5 and Form 6 from 3.30pm to 4pm with Mrs Pearcey

FRIDAY

Orchestra for Forms 3 to 6 from 9a, to 9.30am with Mr Carrington

Choir (dates issued to members) for Forms 3 to 6 from 3.30pm to 4pm with Mrs Pearcey

Forms 5 and 6 will also be offered the opportunity to take part in Skiing at Southampton dry ski slope during the autumn term, and Golf at the Municipal Golf Course during the summer term.

Ballet, Jazz and Tennis clubs are provided for an additional charge by private teachers.  Details of these activities are available from the school office.
